Claremont Domino's Pizza Robbed At Gunpoint: Police

The West Foothill Domino's Pizza joint was robbed at gunpoint, police say.

CLAREMONT, CA — The Domino's pizza on the 300 block of West Foothill Boulevard was victim of a smash and grab robbery at gunpoint on Tuesday, police say.

On January 24, 2017, at just after 11:30 p.m. a suspect threw a brick through the locked front glass door at Domino’s Pizza, Claremont Police Department Sgt. David De Metz stated.

"The brick caused the glass door to shatter and the suspect climbed through the opening," he said. "The suspect confronted an employee, brandished a black revolver and demanded money. The suspect fled the business with an undisclosed amount of cash and ran eastbound on Foothill Boulevard out of view."

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, unknown age, approximately 5’5 to 5’6, heavy set, wearing black boots, blue pants, a dark blue “puffy” jacket with hood, and a dark colored bandanna covering his nose and mouth.

No suspect vehicle was seen.
