• Reaching for the stars on Bridges Auditorium ceiling in Claremont (sbsun.com) — Bridges Auditorium on Pomona College's Claremont campus is getting a rare top-to-bottom restoration of its starry ceiling, gold leaf details, and original colors ahead of its 2031 centennial. Crews are working through intense late-summer heat, with scaffolding set to come down by mid-September so fall performances can resume in a refreshed, more historically accurate space.
