The 82nd , “100 Years and Thriving”, San Gabriel Valley 4-H Fair will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at the Chino Fairgrounds located at Central and Edison Streets in Chino, CA. Admission is FREE. Food will be available. 4-H project work will be on display. For more information, call (323) 255-9870 or email: sgv4hfair2@gmail.com On Saturday there will be judging of small & large livestock, such as rabbits, poultry, sheep, goats, dogs, and swine. These animals are raised by 4-H members. There will be showmanship contests. home economics, arts & crafts, photography, graphic arts, wildlife, beekeeping, entomology, camping, rocketry, computers, electricity, ornamental horticulture, and many other exhibits will be displayed. There will also be a food auction, Cat show, fun games, 4-H Alumni activities, a Dog Show, Fashion Show by 4-H members, a Primary Hobby Horse, silent auction, and awards ceremony. Come and join the fun and learn about 4-H. Bring the kids – FREE admission. The best time for public viewing is from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday. Snacks and meals are available for purchase. 4-H is Sponsored by the University of California Cooperative Extension. Programs are offered to all interested persons without discrimination.
