Sustainable Interior Design class - UCR Extension

A class on Sustainable Interior Design will be held through the UC Riverside Extension Center on May 18 & 19 & June 1 (3 meetings).  


This class teaches designers and consumers the fundamental principles and benefits of sustainable interior design. Designed to equip you with a systematic strategy for assessing the degree of sustainability and cost effectiveness of green design products. A thorough exploration of eco-friendly materials, energy saving appliances, and their sources will be covered. You will come away with an in-depth understanding of sustainability and detailed knowledge about green products which will enable you to create beautiful home environments that are healthier for our earth and those that inhabit the space.  ( Course Number: ART X461.64 )


The instructors will be Roberta Maxwell-Long (B.A., ASID Allied, Draftsman and Designer, Maxwell Long Design, Temecula), and Karen Feinberg (CGBP, LEED AP, Principal, Sustainable-by-Design)
