LA County Fair Plans 'Bite-Sized' Return For 2021
Tickets are on sale for the upcoming, scaled-back version at Pomona's Fairplex, with a bevy of fair food & a mini carnival.
POMONA, CA — Can't go another year without something deep-fried, on-a-stick, covered in chocolate, smothered in Flamin’ Hot Cheetos or dripping with strawberries and cream? We bring good news ...
The LA County Fair, a 99-year tradition for Angelinos, will host a “Bite-Sized Fair” on weekends from Sept. 10-26, as the full-scale extravaganza at the Fairplex in Pomona was scrapped due to the pandemic.
"The LA County Fair is holding one last celebration in September, before it permanently moves to May beginning in 2022," said Fairplex spokesperson Renee Hernandez.

The 2020 fair was canceled altogether, due to COVID-related woes.
Admission and parking for 2021 must be purchased online as no ticket sales will be available at the gate, and capacity will be capped each day. Tickets now are on sale — $2 for admission and $10 for parking, or for drop-offs or ride-share guests using Uber and Lyft, tickets are $5.

More than 20 rides and games from long-time carnival partner Ray Cammack Shows will be on tap, along with a commercial, shopping zone.
The select weekend hours will be Fridays through Sundays 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the LA County fairgrounds, 1101 W. McKinley Ave., Pomona.
