La Verne Mayor Set to Discuss State of the City
The Rotary Club of La Verne and the La Verne Chamber of Commerce have begun to promote the State of the City event coming in January.

La Verne Mayor Don Kendrick will speak on how the city fared in 2012 and how its future looks during the annual State of the City Address luncheon presented by the Rotary Club of La Verne and the La Verne Chamber of Commerce.
The event is scheduled for Jan. 31 and is open to the public. Reservations are required for the Tuscan buffet lunch. The cost of $20 per person, organizers said.
The event is planned at the Meeting House at Hillcrest, 2705 Mt. View Drive, La Verne.

Reservations need to be in by Jan. 28. Anyone interested in attending can call (909) 593-4917 ext. 0.
Check-in and networking is scheduled to start at 11:30 a.m. The meal will be served at noon. The address should begin at 12:30 p.m.
