A 41-year-old man was shot to death in Pomona, police said Saturday. Police responded to reports of a man who was shot and had collapsed in front of a 7 Eleven store located at 1707 Indian Hill Boulevard, according to the Pomona Police Department. Officers arriving on the scene found the victim, Shane McMillian, had been shot several times, police said. McMillian was airlifted to County-USC Medical Center where he died from his wounds, police said. The homicide unit is currently investigating the case. Authorities urged anyone with information regarding the homicide to contact the Pomona Police Department at 909-620-3350. --City News Service
