With students leaving and an increasingly active real estate market, Claremont officials warn people there are limits to when and where you can post signs.

An end to classes means student departures and empty apartments. in combination with a more active real estate market, there will likely more signs posted, city officials said through a news release.

The municipal code governing real estate signs permits a sign with a maximum of six-square-feet in area and five feet in height, if freestanding, per street frontage of a property For Sale/Rent or Lease, officials wrote.
