Traffic plan in place for Luke Bryan Farm Tour in Clovis (yourcentralvalley.com) — Expect heavier traffic near Owens Mountain Parkway and Highway 168 this Friday evening as Luke Bryan’s Farm Tour comes to Clovis, with CHP, Fresno County deputies, and Clovis Police coordinating controls and flashing red lights. The concert starts at 5 p.m., is expected to be smaller than last year’s, and tickets are still available for local fans.

Fresno's SCCCD launches chancellor search (fresnobee.com) — Clovis residents should know that State Center Community College District, which includes Clovis Community College, has officially launched its search for a new chancellor as current leader Carole Goldsmith plans to retire in September. Trustees approved a candidate profile emphasizing antiracist teaching, openness to AI, and closing equity gaps, with applications open through August 11 and an interim chancellor timeline still undecided.

3. ‘Signs' confirm there's a new Luke Bryan album coming (ktlo.com) — Luke Bryan is rolling out a new album, “Signs,” on September 18 and tying it to a busy tour schedule. For Clovis fans, the key detail is that his annual Farm Tour kicks off in Clovis this Friday, putting the city on the map for his national rollout.
