Historic Downtown Colfax is hosting its second free outdoor concert of the summer on Saturday, June 20th, featuring Sacramento jamband Love Mischief with local opener Las Ninas Muertas.
Love Mischief is one of Northern California's most exciting live acts — a Berklee-trained jamband founded in Sacramento that blends funk, psychedelic rock, and jazz fusion into an unpredictable, high-energy show. They cover everything from Grateful Dead and Phish to Pink Floyd and originals, and no two sets sound the same.
Opening the night is Las Ninas Muertas, a five-piece all-women acoustic ensemble from the Sierra Foothills who bring four-part harmonies, banjo, mandolin, and upright bass to the Grateful Dead catalog. If you've seen them before, you know. If you haven't, prepare to be converted.
The concert takes place at Art Park on South Main Street in Historic Downtown Colfax — free admission, all ages, leashed dogs welcome. A beer and wine garden will be on site along with food trucks. Street parking is available throughout Historic Downtown.
Gates open at 5PM. Las Ninas Muertas takes the stage at 6PM. Love Mischief headlines at 7:30PM. Show ends at 9PM.
RSVP free at liveincolfax.com.
Presented by the Historic Colfax Downtown Association.
