17th Annual Wine & Roses Gala To Benefit Gardens At Heather Farm

Annual fundraising event helps to maintain the six acre garden and its community outreach programs.

Join family, friends and neighbors at The Gardens at Heather Farm for Wine & Roses on Sunday, October 5 from 4 to 7 p.m. Held in October this year to coincide with the year-long centennial celebration of the City of Walnut Creek, the evening starts with a Champagne Stroll in the Rose Garden, which will be followed by wine and beer tasting, food sampling, live music by the Dirty Cello Band and a raffle and silent auction.

This year’s guests will be treated to inspired small plates created by Checkers Catering, Englund’s Catering, Il Fornaio, Sunrise Bistro, Culinary Excellence Catering and more. Wine tasting features some of Northern California’s best-loved vintages. In addition, Drake’s Brewing Company and Lost Coast Brewery will be on hand.

Guests may bid on silent auction lots donated from Calistoga Bike Shop, Canvas and Cabernet, Napa and Sonoma Valley Bike Tours, Navlet’s Garden Centers, Sloat Garden Center, Small Thyme Catering and more.
