Tapestry Ringers and Singers presents the first of three concerts celebrating 250 years of America. An eclectic program of uplifting music roams from folk music to spirituals to Gershwin to Leadbelly. The stirring poem at the base of the Statue of Liberty provides the basis for the concluding piece, "I Lift My Lamp." These free concerts will continue with a 7:30 p.m. performance on May 2 at Our Savior's Ltheran Church in Lafayette and conclude with a 4 p.m. show at Walnut Creek United Methodist Church on May 3.
