4 Concord Residents Injured In Alleged Hit-And-Run Crash On I-80: CHP
Breaking: California Highway Patrol is seeking the driver of a royal blue sedan in connection with the rollover crash near Dixon.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA -- The California Highway Patrol is seeking to identify an alleged hit-and-run driver in a rollover crash on Interstate Highway 80 near Dixon that left a Contra Costa County woman with major injuries and three others -- including an infant -- with minor injuries.
The crash involving a royal blue sedan of unknown make and model occurred about 1 a.m. Wednesday on westbound I-80, east of Pitt School Road, according to CHP Officer David Harvey.
Harvey said Concord resident Vasil Georgiev was driving a gray 2014 Toyota Tundra truck in the number two lane when a blue sedan that was traveling next to him in the number three lane entered his lane for unknown reasons and collided with the back of his Tundra.

"This caused the Toyota to overturn multiple times," Harvey said.
Concord resident Yoana Taseva, 31, and a 4-month-old infant boy, were both ejected from the truck as it overturned, Harvey said.

Taseva suffered major injuries in the collision and was rushed to the Kaiser hospital in Vacaville, according to the CHP. Her condition as of Thursday morning was not immediately clear.
Georgiev, the baby boy and a 5-year-old boy who was also in the truck, were treated at the same hospital for minor injuries, according to the CHP.
"After the collision, witnesses stated the blue sedan collided with the center median, then drove to the right shoulder, stopped and fled the collision scene traveling westbound on Interstate 80," Harvey said.
The CHP is asked anyone who has information about this incident to call CHP's non-emergency line, 800-TELL-CHP (800-835-5247), or the CHP Solano Area Office at 707-428-2100.
"Relate that you have information for CHP - Solano and Officer Gonzalez who is handling this investigation," Harvey said. "Any information obtained in regards to this collision will be greatly appreciated."
