Pittsburg Wrong-Way Crash Victims Id'ed; 3 Kids Under 10 Among Dead
A wrong-way crash killed four people in one vehicle and the driver in another on Highway 4 Thursday.

PITTSBURG, CA — Three children under the age of 10 are among the five dead following Thursday's wrong-way crash on Highway 4 in Pittsburg, the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office confirmed to Patch.
The crash killed four people in one vehicle and the driver in another car, the California Highway Patrol said.
The five dead have been identified as Lasaundra Goode, 44, of Vacaville, and Tiara Tucker, 27, Mariah Mihailovic, 5, Keilani Johnson-Ochoa, 4, and Kaliyah Johnson-Ochoa, 9, all four from Vallejo, the sheriff's office said.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just after midnight Thursday near Loveridge Road.
Officials said that a driver in a Hyundai with the three children was going eastbound on the westbound lanes of the highway when they collided head-on with a Ford SUV. There were no passengers in the Ford SUV.

All victims died at the scene, according to CHP. The agency added that it is not yet clear if drugs and alcohol were a factor in the crash.
