Authorities describe her physical appearance and clothing and ask anyone who spots her or has information to call 911 immediately as the alert system pushes details across highways, media, and social platforms.    

• Concord Police Crack Down On Distracted Driving, Warn Of Rising Dangers On The Road (claycord.com) — Concord drivers are being warned that police are stepping up enforcement of California’s hands-free cell phone law this month, targeting anyone using devices behind the wheel. As distracted driving deaths rise statewide, Concord’s police chief urges residents to silence phones, set navigation before driving, and avoid multitasking so local roads stay safer for everyone.    

• Dana Waymire (thecounty-chronicle.com) — Concord residents are informed of the passing of Dana Marie Waymire, 63, who died in Concord on April 16, 2026.
