Armed, Masked Man Robs Thrift Store On Willow Pass Road
Concord police said the suspect hid in the store until closing.

CONCORD, CA – A thrift store in Concord was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night by a masked man who hid out and then emerged after closing to demand money from employees who were counting out the register, according to police.
The store, listed at 1659 Willow Pass Road, closes at 8 p.m. and the robbery was reported around 8:20 p.m., Cpl. Summer Galer said.
There were three employees counting money in the back room at the time of the robbery, but no injuries were reported. The robber fled through a rear emergency door after they gave him the cash.

The suspect was described as a white man between 40 and 50 years old who is roughly 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall with a thin build.
He was last seen wearing a dark gray hoodie under a black jacket, a gray baseball hat with a black bill and a dark bandanna over his face.
