Authorities ID Victim In Fatal Kirker Pass Rollover

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA -- A 30-year-old Bay Point man who died in a rollover crash on Kirker Pass Road just outside of Concord on Tuesday evening has been identified by the Contra Costa County coroner's office as Ramoncito Lucido.

The crash was reported at 7:10 p.m. on Kirker Pass Road near Hess Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The victim was heading north in a Dodge Stealth when he veered into a concrete center divider, then went back onto the right-hand shoulder and up a dirt embankment. The vehicle then overturned and landed back in the roadway, CHP officials said.

Lucido was pronounced dead at the scene. CHP investigators have not determined whether drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
