Bank Robbery Attempt Foiled In Concord
A man who passed a note to a teller demanding money fled the Chase Bank in downtown Concord with no money Saturday.
CONCORD, CA — A man who passed a note to a teller demanding money fled the Chase Bank in downtown Concord with no money Saturday, police said.
The man approached a teller at the Chase Bank on Salvio Street at Mt. Diablo Street around 10:40 a.m. with a note demanding money, according to Concord police Lt. Sam Staten.
"The teller activated the alarm system and the man fled on foot. He didn't get any money," Staten said.
