BART Police Arrest Concord Man In Alleged Domestic Violence Incident

BREAKING: The incident allegedly occurred at the Pleasant Hill BART station.

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — A Concord man was arrested over the weekend at the Pleasant Hill BART station on suspicion of domestic violence against a person he was dating, BART police said. The alleged violence was reported at 12:18 a.m. Saturday at the station at 1365 Treat Blvd. where a taxi cab driver noticed two people arguing.

The argument allegedly escalated into a fight and the male party appeared to be the aggressor.

According to police, the first officer to arrive detained 38-year-old Concord man Tiontee Johnson without any trouble.

Police allege that Johnson grabbed the victim around her neck.
