Bus Tours Planned To View Former Concord Naval Weapons Station
The free tours will give residents a firsthand look to see where new housing, stores, offices and parks will be constructed.

CONCORD, CA – The City of Concord is hosting “first-come, first-served” bus tours of the Base Reuse Project at the former Concord Naval Weapons Station on two Saturdays, May 19 and July 28.
The two-hour tours will give the public a chance to see where new housing, retail and office buildings are planned on the property, as well as the Mt. Diablo Creek restoration project, Tournament Sports Park and a regional park, city officials said.
Two tours will be held each Saturday at 9 a.m. and 12 noon, starting from Concord Civic Center, 1950 Parkside Dr. There is no charge for the tours, but those interested can sign up to make a reservation at the following links:
