Car Hits Horse In Contra Costa Co.
One person suffered major injured and a horse was killed in a collision in Knightsen Friday night.
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — One person suffered major injuries Friday evening in Knightsen after the vehicle the individual was traveling in collided with a horse.
It happened just before 10 p.m. near Delta Road and Pastor Lane.
A medical helicopter was summoned to airlift the individual to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek for treatment. A second person in the vehicle refused treatment.
The horse was killed in the collision.
