Carondelet Lacrosse Team Goes For NCS Title Against Top Ranked Amador Valley

The Carondelet High lacrosse team will try to snag the North Coast Section Division I title against the country's top-ranked team Friday evening.

Carondelet, which is ranked second in the NCS tournament, will take on Amador Valley High, the number one seed, on the Dons' home field beginning at 7 p.m. Friday.

The Amador Valley High squad is ranked number one in the state and the nation. They have compiled a 21-1 record. They've won 16 contests in a row, including a 10-9 victory over Carondelet on April 10.

The Carondelet squad has put together a 20-3 record. They've won nine in a row.
