Hey, Concord! Here's everything you need to know to get this Wednesday started off right.

Here are the top stories in Concord today:
- It was a brazen robbery that played out at Iceberg Diamonds in the Sun Valley Mall in Concord on Monday. And the whole thing was caught on camera. The store was robbed at 7:30 PM while it was still open. The Concord Police Department said it was a group of nine people wielding hammers that descended on the store and kept the employees at bay with the weapons while they smashed the display cases and took off with the jewelry. The amount of jewelry taken is unknown at this time. (KRON4)
- More than a dozen children at a Sutter Health pediatric vaccine clinic in Antioch received a higher dose than expected of the COVID-19 vaccine last weekend, Sutter officials confirmed Tuesday. As a result of an incorrect amount of diluting substance, the children received more than the dose as specified for those ages 5-11. The amount they received was about two-thirds of what people 12 and up receive. Sutter officials say Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance indicates that people who receive the vaccine with a wrong dose may have more arm soreness, headache, fever or fatigue. - The Walnut Creek City Council on Tuesday discussed creating a buffer zone around Planned Parenthood to cut down on confrontations between protesters and patients. According to a staff report for Tuesday's meeting, Walnut Creek police received 42 calls for service at Planned Parenthood on Oakland Blvd., between Jan. 1, 2020 and Nov. 5, 2021. Complaints included verbal and physical harassment and intimidation of patients and blocking sidewalks. At least four people have been arrested. Some California cities, such as San Francisco, Oakland and Napa, have buffer zones further restricting protesters' proximity to reproductive health care facilities. Some give patients and employees at least eight feet of personal space from protesters. (Claycord.com)
