CONCORD, CA --A house in the Sun Terrace neighborhood in North Concord burned Saturday night, and Contra Costa County Fire Protection District inspectors were seeking a cause.
Firefighters responded to the house, its garage completely involved, on Edmonton Way about 8 p.m., and took about 20 minutes to put out the fire, according to a social media post from the district.
A dog that at first was found to be not breathing was given aid and revived, firefighters said.

No injuries were reported, but a car also was destroyed. Other details were not available late Saturday night.
