(Patch Media)

Happy Tuesday, Concord! Here's everything going on today in town.

First, today's weather:

Fog, then some sun. High: 63 Low: 43.

Here are the top stories today in Concord:

  1. The Concord Police Department is looking for 67-year-old Craig Nabors, who was last seen using his wheelchair Sunday about 5 p.m. in the 1000 block of San Miguel Road. Nabors' wheelchair has an American flag affixed to the back, and he was last seen wearing a white sweater and tan pants. Police said Nabors suffers from dementia and high blood pressure. If anyone sees him, please contact the Concord police at (925) 671-3333. (SFBay)
  2. In a season which saw the De La Salle High School Spartans' 318-game NorCal unbeaten streak end in a loss at St. Francis-Mountain View, the program's North Coast Section unbeaten streak will live on for another season. It will sit at 259 when the 2022 season arrives next fall. "It feels awesome to follow in the footsteps of everyone who has come before us," De La Salle senior quarterback Luke Dermon said. "It's good to keep that tradition going." (Claycord.com)
  3. More information is emerging on the group of thieves that robbed the Nordstrom's store in Walnut Creek on Saturday night. Of the 80, or so, that descended on the store, three were arrested. Walnut Creek police have identified them as: Dana Dawson, 30, of San Francisco, Joshua Underwood, 32, of San Francisco and Rodney Robinson, 18, of Oakland. Police said the three were being held on charges of robbery, burglary, conspiracy and possession of stolen property, with Dawson charged with illegal possession of a firearm and carrying a concealed weapon. Police said the incident was a "planned event." Investigators are in the process of reviewing surveillance footage in an effort to identify other suspects, police said. (News 24/680)
  4. Just after 8 a.m. Sunday, dispatchers received a hit from an Automated License Plate Reader system about a stolen car near the Vacaville outlet mall. After responding, police found that the stolen vehicle, a black Nissan Altima, had recently been bought by the driver's son on Craigslist for $500. Unfortunately for the buyer, officers identified the vehicle as stolen. Fortunately for the owner of the vehicle, a Concord resident, police were able to get the vehicle back to its rightful owner. 5. On December 7th, Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, Mount Diablo's Beacon will be relit by survivors of Pearl Harbor. The Sons and Daughters of Pearl Harbor Survivors, Chapter 5 are pleased to co-sponsor this 58th Annual National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day Beacon Lighting Ceremony with Save Mount Diablo and California State University, East Bay.
