WATCH: The home was "well-involved" in flames, prompting evacuations of neighboring residences, a Contra Costa County fire official said.
CONCORD, CA — A mobile home caught fire Thursday night in Concord, prompting evacuations while firefighters worked to extinguish the flames. The blaze on Terrace Drive was reported at 8:25 p.m. and five engine crews were dispatched to the scene, said Tracie Dutter, a captain with the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District.
The first arriving crews encountered a structure that was "well-involved" in flames, Dutter said.
"Two adults escaped without injury, thankfully," Dutter told Patch. "Concord PD assisted with evacuating adjacent units."
