CONCORD, CA — Several cars and an apartment building were struck by gunfire in a shooting Monday night near Monument Boulevard in Concord but no injuries to people were reported, a spokesperson for the Concord Police Department confirmed Wednesday.
Several callers reported the shooting at 10:36 p.m., telling police dispatchers they heard gunfire in the area of Frisbie Court and Lacey Lane, Concord police Cpl. Summer Galer said in an email response to Patch.
"Officers arrived and found that several vehicles and an apartment building had been struck by gunfire but there were no injuries reported," Galer said. "Several witnesses heard an argument just prior to the gunfire but no intended targets of the gunfire or suspects were immediately located."
