Concord Wins 2 'Best Of The East Bay' Awards: Diablo Magazine

CONCORD, CA —The City of Concord won in two categories of Diablo Magazine's annual "Best of the East Bay" awards as selected by readers of the publication, the city announced Monday.

The city won the category Best Outdoor Concert Series for Music & Market

The city also won the Best Overnight Camp for Camp Concord.

Music & Market is a popular Thursday night concert series at Todos Santos Plaza. Listeners can enjoy live music and visit the weekly farmers' market, which runs in conjunction with the shows from June through September.

Camp Concord is a summer camp in the South Lake Tahoe area that offers family, youth, and 50-and-better camps. The camp strives to provide a high-quality yet affordable vacation for campers with its second-to-none hospitality and programming through a shared vision of teamwork, customer service and dedication to its natural environment, the city said.

"We are proud of this accomplishment and will continue to join with our community to make Concord a city of the highest quality!" City officials said.
