Dave & Buster's Now Open In Concord

At the venue that brings over 230 new jobs, guests can enjoy happy hour, play simulators and games of skill, watch sporting events and more.

CONCORD, CA — Gamers and sports-loving East Bay residents will be among those happy to hear that Dave & Buster's has come to town. Dallas-based Dave & Buster's 132nd restaurant and entertainment venue officially opened its doors Sept. 2 in a 47,000-square-foot space at The Veranda shopping center in Concord.

At the new Concord venue that has provided over 230 new jobs, guests can watch sporting events in the D&B Sports Bar and play state-of-the-art simulators and games of skill they can’t play anywhere else, media representatives said in a news release.

"The new immersive environment is the newest go-to spot for families, friends and events," representatives said.

Existing Bay Area Dave & Buster's are in Daly City and Milpitas. Located at 2075 Diamond Blvd., H-180, the new Concord Dave & Buster's is accessible from Interstate Highway 680, making it a convenient location not only for Concord but surrounding East Bay communities, representatives said.

The general manager of Dave & Buster's Concord, Jermaine Lee, said he is proud to be serving the Concord community and that he sought to build a staff of "fun, passionate and energetic team members committed to providing an unmatched guest experience."

GAMES

Guests of all ages can expect a wide array of new and classic games with a variety of prize opportunities including Apple products, Xbox consoles, Beats by Dre and other high-end gadgets.

Along with traditional gaming experiences, guests will be able to experience brand new multiplayer virtual reality attraction platforms such as the all-new Star Trek™: Dark Remnant, Jurassic World VR Expedition™ and Men in Black International: Virtual Reality™.

FOOD

As for its menu, Dave & Buster’s says it caters to every taste bud and dietary preference, offering health-conscious items such as Zoodles, an alternative to any pasta. Other Healthy Halo offerings including Simply Grilled proteins such as salmon and chicken, among other options.

The menu also features an assortment of "snackable and shareable" items, including Cantina Nachos and Smashed Bar Burgers.

Dave & Buster’s cocktail menu has hand-crafted cocktails made with Simply® juices, such as Dangerous Waters Island Punch and Strawberry Watermelon Margarita made with strawberry puree ice cubes.

HAPPY HOUR

Happy hour specials run from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and include half-price cocktails, $2.50 domestic pints, $1 off 22 oz. drafts and glasses of wine, $3 off bottles of wine and $5 bar bites; 2 for Tuesday featuring $2 Crispy/Soft Beef or Chicken Taco, as well as $2 Corona or Corona Light bottles (until 9pm); Half Price Games Wednesday (all games half off, all day); and All You Can Eat Wings + Unlimited Video Game Play for $19.99 on Thursdays. Dave & Buster’s also celebrates members of the military and first responders with 10-percent off Food & Game Play with a valid ID.
