Donations Matched Up To $10K For Concord Charity

CONCORD, CA — Monument Crisis Center is a Concord charity that offers nutritious food, quality resources, and referrals to low-income individuals and families to help them become stable and secure in the community. It is one of two charities in the county selected by the Travis Credit Union Foundation's COVID-19 Relief program for matching grants.

The Foundation's campaign is supporting 10 community organizations in five counties in an effort to alleviate long-term economic problems brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.

All donations from the general public will be matched up to $10,000 by the Travis Credit Union Foundation.

The other CoCo nonprofit is Trinity Center, a non-residential program serving the homeless and working poor in Walnut Creek and Central Contra Costa County.

Donations can be made at tcufund.org. The deadline to receive the match is the end of the month.

The other counties that will receive matching funds are Napa, Solano, Merced, and Yolo.

All of the organizations receiving support are Travis Credit Union Foundation's community partners that have already aligned with the credit union to serve its members by providing free financial education opportunities as well as those providing essential services throughout the pandemic.
