Driver Plows Into Parked Car In Concord; DUI Suspected: Police

CONCORD, CA — DUI is suspected in a crash Thursday morning in Concord that sent a vehicle up and over a curb, according to police. Officers responded in the early morning hours to Concord Boulevard and Vavold Street, where a driver apparently plowed into a parked car, police said in a social media post.

Photos from the scene showed a large SUV and a light-colored sedan — both with extensive damage. A utility box of some sort was also damaged in the crash.

Firefighter/paramedics responded but it was not immediately clear whether anyone was injured.
