Every Thursday in August come to the plaza for the music, stay for the baseball movie following the performance! Show time is approximately 8:15 p.m.
- Aug. 4: Field of Dreams. Regarded by many as the baseball film of all time, this wonderful fantasy on the National Pastime is a must-see. Rated PG
- Aug. 11: Angels in the Outfield. A hot-tempered loud-mouth manager, played by Paul Douglas, who had better learn to mind his manners or lose everything. Great fun with a great Hollywood oldschool cast, including Janet Leigh and Spring Byington. Rated G.
- Aug. 18: Bad News Bears. Good news! The Bad News is coming to the Plaza! We bring you the original 1976 classic with Walter Matthau and Tatum O’Neal. Current filmgoers may get a kick out of seeing Jackie Earl Haley in his child-actor days. Rated PG.
- Aug. 25: Take Me Out to the Ball Game. The legendary Busby Berkeley directs Gene Kelly, Frank Sinatra and Esther Williams. With the story and musical staging by Gene Kelly and future features director Stanley Donen, this is another Hollywood golden-era classic. Not rated.
