Fire Rescue Underway In Antioch Blaze

The fire was reported at 9:39 a.m. Friday and extended into a structure, according to Con Fire.

ANTIOCH, CA — Contra Costa County firefighters successfully rescued at least one person from a fire Friday morning in Antioch, officials said. The fire was reported at 9:39 a.m. in the 500 block of Texas Street and extended into a building.

Additional crews were dispatched, and by about 10:40 a.m., Con Fire officials said the rescue was successful and the fire was out.

"A quick response from crews and fast action made for minimal fire damage and no injuries at scene," Con Fire officials said.
