Fire Truck Enroute To Hwy 4 Crash Hit By Vehicle
The collision closed some lanes in the Pittsburg area.

PITTSBURG, CA – A fire truck was struck by a vehicle after responding to a crash on eastbound state Highway 4 in Pittsburg this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The initial crash was reported at 6:48 a.m. as a solo-vehicle crash into the center divider on eastbound Highway 4 near Bailey Road.
Fire crews responded but their truck was then hit while it was at the scene of the earlier crash, CHP officials said.

No firefighters were injured in the crash, which has shut down all but the far right eastbound lane of Highway 4, according to the CHP. There is no estimate for when the other lanes will reopen.
