Gun-Waving Man Apprehended in Concord
A man seen waving a weapon in public was apprehended over the weekend by police in Concord.

CONCORD, CA -- A man seen waving a weapon in public was apprehended over the weekend in the city, police said.
Around 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, a woman called security and safety services provider OnStar reporting that she saw a person waving a dangerous weapon around on Willow Pass Road near Market Street.
After the reporting person described in detail what the person was wearing and where she last saw him walking, OnStar dispatchers called the Concord Police Department to report the incident, and officers were dispatched to the scene.

At the scene, officers quickly located and apprehended the male suspect, as seen in the above photo.
