Husband and Wife Arrested for Concord, Walnut Creek Robbery Spree
The pair has been tied to at least eight robberies and investigators continue to look at other heists, according to police.

CONCORD, CA - A man suspected of robbing at least eight businesses in Concord and Walnut Creek within the past month was arrested along with his wife on Friday, according to Concord police.
After releasing surveillance images of the male suspect and providing a description of him, Concord police detectives received a tip that led to the arrest of the Concord couple, police Cpl. Christopher Blakely said.
Blakely said the identities of the man and his wife, who is suspected in a robbery at a Subway in Concord, are not yet being released pending an investigation into their alleged robbery spree.

The man allegedly began the spree on Jan. 15 in Walnut Creek with an afternoon robbery, which police said was a typical time for his robberies, along with early evening hours.
The suspect targeted Leslie’s Pool Supplies at 2971 Ygnacio Valley Road, an area he returned to on Feb. 1 when he robbed Premium Cleaners at 1865 Ygnacio Valley Road.

He also hit two other Walnut Creek businesses, NorCal Swim Shop and a Casper’s Hot Dogs, Concord police said.
In Concord, the suspect robbed a Subway at 4701 Clayton Road on Jan. 19 and returned to that same location on Feb. 1 for another robbery.
Between then, he hit another Subway shop on Monument Boulevard on Jan. 29, police said.
His wife also allegedly robbed a Subway on Concord Boulevard.
Before his arrest Friday, he was tied to a Baskin-Robbins robbery last Wednesday night at 5100 Clayton Road.
No other details about the case were immediately available today.
