Man Who Allegedly Took Assault Rifle To Ex-GF's Workplace Found
The suspect tried shooting the Concord business' manager, but failed and then fled, according to police.

CONCORD, CA – A man accused of showing up with an assault rifle at his ex-girlfriend's workplace in Concord and trying to shoot the business' manager was arrested this week after fleeing to Southern California, the Concord Police Department said.
The department said the suspect, Luis Cuevas, allegedly armed with an AR-15 rifle, went to the undisclosed business on Oct. 26 looking for his ex-girlfriend and her boyfriend, who also works there, and tried to shoot the manager during a confrontation. The gun malfunctioned, however, and Cuevas took off in his 2014 Ford Fusion, police said.
Police issued an arrest warrant for Cuevas on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of a firearm and asked the public to be on the lookout for him, warning that he should be considered armed and dangerous.
