Meet Alex & Vanity, Owners of APM in Concord
What an exciting first 6 months in business! Here's a little info about the owners of APM Ayala Property Maintenance.
Alex and Vanity Ayala have had a long time dream of owning their own business.
In 2012 Vanity decided to go back to school to study business while Alex worked full time to support the family. In 2013, Alex went through yet another layoff so the duo decided to start planning their own small business.
With Alex’s extensive knowledge and experience in flooring, plumbing, and property maintenance; along with Vanity’s background and education in business management, they knew they had a solid idea.

They began taking courses at the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in Pleasant Hill. The courses; especially the business planning course, greatly improved their knowledge and confidence in proceeding with their idea of opening their very own Home Maintenance and Repair business.
After a full year of learning and preparing for their small business, along with creating a thorough business plan, they finally opened APM Ayala Property Maintenance on April 1st, 2014.
