Known as the CCCFPD Lafayette/Walnut Creek Shaded Fuel Break, the project would extend efforts by the Moraga-Orinda fire district to protect county residents from wildfire threats from the south. 4. BART's schedule will change on Monday, February 14, 2022, with significant improvements to Sunday service. With this schedule change, BART will operate midnight service every night of the week representing a full restoration of pre-pandemic service hours. Highlights include extending service to midnight on Sundays, running 4 trains an hour at the SFO station until 9pm on Sundays and a new transfer location at Bay Fair for Dublin to Berryessa transfers every day. 5. At 7:02 pm Tuesday, the Antioch Police Department received a call from a motorist, a 29-year-old male, who requested medical attention due to his 76-year-old female passenger having difficulties breathing. Police responded to the area of Mountain Ridge Way and Pinnacle View Way in the City of Antioch. Upon arrival a female was found to be having a medical emergency. During rescue efforts, it was discovered the victim sustained at least one gunshot wound to her back.
