One Injured In Contra Costa County Crash
At least one person was taken via helicopter to a local hospital after a solo-vehicle crash on eastbound state Highway 4.
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA -- At least one person was taken via helicopter to a local hospital after a solo-vehicle crash on eastbound state Highway 4 in unincorporated Contra Costa County early this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP said the crash, reported around 2:30 a.m. today, involved just one vehicle on the highway near Solano Avenue. The victim's condition wasn't immediately available.
According to the CHP, a witness reported seeing a vehicle driving recklessly before the crash. All lanes were blocked for a short time, the CHP said.
