Pedestrian Suffers Serious Injuries In Concord Crash
Police closed part of Clayton Road Tuesday after a vehicle struck and seriously injured a pedestrian.
CONCORD, CA — A pedestrian struck by a vehicle at a Concord intersection was seriously injured Tuesday.
The incident happened at Clayton Road and Talisman Way.
Concord police arrived at the scene at about 3:39 p.m.

Paramedics transported the pedestrian to a hospital. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators, according to Concord police.
Police closed a portion of the roadway during the investigation. They have not yet responded to requests for more details.
