Police Arrest Teen On Suspicion Of Shooting 9-Year-Old In Antioch

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — Police arrested a 17-year-old on suspicion of shooting a 9-year-old boy.

Police responded to a report shortly after 4:41 p.m. of a shooting in the 300 block of Sunset Drive in Antioch.

Officers on the scene found a 9-year-old boy, who had been shot. He was taken to a local hospital, where medics treated him for a non-life threatening injury.

Police arrested the 17-year-old.
