CONCORD, CA — Concord police said Sunday morning officers were out Saturday night, cracking down on street racing activity.

Police said the operation focused on road safety through targeting reckless drivers and illegally modified vehicles.

Officers issued "numerous citations," towed illegal vehicles, and arrested several people, though police didn't specify why the arrests were made or say who was arrested.
