Rats Prompt Closure Of Concord Chinese Food Buffet: Report
Breaking: Contra Costa County environmental health officials called for the closure this week of the restaurant.
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA -- A Chinese food buffet in Concord was ordered to shut down this week when environmental health officials with Contra Costa County discovered a rat infestation, according to a news report.
Health officials on Wednesday closed operations at Lin's Buffet, 1333 Willow Pass Road, because of the alleged violation, KRON4 reported.
While Patch was not immediately able to reach officials for comment Thursday afternoon, the Contra Costa Health Services website indicates an inspection took place Wednesday at the restaurant -- at which time the establishment was shut down.

In March, Lin's Buffet was cited for several food and safety violations. The restaurant was also cited in December 2016.
