  1. Aaron Mattia was honored after the first episode of Netflix's Making Fun series, where we see inventor Jimmy DiResta take on children's invention ideas and turn them into a reality. Tributes began to pour in for Aaron after the first episode, from cast members such as Jimmy, and viewers who were saddened to hear the news of his death while watching the show. Jeremy "Aaron" Mattia, who called himself "Wandering Mattia" on social media, was a builder at Mattia Media and hailed from Concord, California. He worked at the business from October 2019 onwards. Aaron's IMDb profile reveals that he also worked on the shows MythBusters Jr. and Top Chef, and the TV movie documentary Dangerous Toys. (realitytitbit.com)
  2. California Assemblymember Tim Grayson (D-Concord) has introduced AB 1814, legislation that would allow Community Choice Aggregators (CCAs) to plug into state funding for programs to advance transportation electrification (TE) in California. AB 1814 recognizes and seeks to accelerate the leading role community choice energy providers play in driving electric vehicle adoption through CCA-funded EV incentive and infrastructure programs. 5. On March 9, the Contra Costa County Local Area Formation Commission (LAFCo) unanimously approved the annexation of East Contra Costa Fire Protection District (ECCFPD) to the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District (CCCFPD) and the dissolution of ECCFPD.
