'Sierra Sunrize': Concord Photo Of The Day

CONCORD, CA — Concord Patch reader Rick Cassidy shared this photo he calls "Sierra Sunrize." He took the picture from the air while returning from Chico to Concord after dropping his daughter off early for classes.

"Always loved this picture, not just the sunrise, but the reflection of the clouds on the wing and the sun off the water in the fields," he said. "Flying gives you the best seat in the house to many amazing sights."
