CONCORD, CA — Today's photo of the day comes from Ronald Glas, who took this photo Monday evening in Concord.
Temperatures in Concord that day soared, ultimately matching a historic weather record by hitting 102°F. At the lower edge of the photo, the sun was dipping below the horizon line, leaving behind a glowing golden-orange band near the earth.
