Tassajara Parks Hike - Save The Date

Presented by Save Mount Diablo.

Saturday, March 21st 2015;, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Have you been to the Tassajara Valley? You can see several beautiful open space areas on just one hike with Save Mount Diablo. We’ll also talk about an interesting development project that could mean even more open space, Tassajara Parks.

While walking on the Tassajara Ridge Trail, we’ll see the rural Tassajara Valley, as well as Morgan Territory Regional Preserve and the Black Hills of Mount Diablo State Park. Our route also passes through the little known Kawar Valley, where golden eagles have nested. On previous hikes in the area, we’ve seen many birds including golden eagles, hawks and even prairie falcons.
