The Vietnam Vets dinner and gathering of veterans, supporters and patriots from the Diablo Valley community, collected over 100 new, unwrapped toys to be donated to “Operation Santa” and “Toys for Tots” - where all toys will help make the holiday season a little brighter for children of military families and to thank these families for their service and sacrifices e-dured while serving our Country.
These toys will be added to additional ones purchased by Santa’s Helpers from the Diablo Valley Veterans Foundation (DVVF), the Vietnam Veterans of Diablo Valley (VNVDV), and the Blue Star Moms (Chapters 20 and 101) as part of their annual toy drive.
Operation Santa Claus is made possible through a generous grant from Tesoro Golden Eagle Refinery, to support military families serving, Gold Star Families and wounded warrior families during the holidays.
