Voting In Contra Costa County: Congressman To Host Town Hall

U.S. Rep. Mark DeSaulnier and officials with the county elections division will be on hand to answer questions from community members.

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — U.S. Rep. Mark DeSaulnier, who represents 21 Contra Costa County cities and communities in Congress, will host a virtual town hall this week to discuss voting in the county.

The town hall runs from noon until 1 p.m. Friday on Zoom and will be streamed live on the congressman's Facebook page. The event is a follow-up to DeSaulnier's town hall last month on voting rights.

Members of the public can submit questions live during the event or before it starts. Officials with the Contra Costa County Elections Division will join DeSaulnier for the town hall and will be available to answer questions.

DeSaulnier, a Democrat, lives in Concord and represents the Contra Costa County cities of Alamo, Antioch (partial), Bay Point, Brentwood, Byron, Clayton, Concord, Danville, El Cerrito, El Sobrante, Kensington, Lafayette, Martinez(partial), Moraga, Orinda, Pacheco, Pittsburg, Pleasant Hill, Richmond, San Pablo and Walnut Creek.
